About the Role
You will build and run Mural's talent acquisition function, owning outbound sourcing, inbound talent branding, recruiting processes, hiring systems, and agency relationships. You will personally source difficult roles, close senior hires, partner with leadership on organizational planning, and use AI-native tools to manage recruiting workflows.
Requirements
- Talent or recruiting ownership at a hypergrowth startup
- Track record closing senior or executive hires
- Direct sourcing experience
- Talent brand and storytelling experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Experience using AI-native tools for sourcing and screening
- Inbound recruiting experience
- Fintech, blockchain, or banking recruiting experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
- Own talent acquisition end to end
- Source candidates personally for difficult roles
- Build the inbound talent engine
- Create talent-brand content and community presence
- Design scorecards, interview loops, and offer structures
- Manage ATS, sourcing channels, scorecards, and referral systems
- Track time-to-fill and quality-of-hire
- Review recruiting pipelines with the CEO
- Own hiring processes with hiring managers
- Manage external recruiter and agency relationships
- Partner with the CEO and COO on organizational design and headcount planning
