About the Role
You will lead budgeting, forecasting, long-term planning, and fundraising strategy. You will prepare investor and board materials, assess strategic initiatives, conduct financial and scenario analyses, advise executives on investments and risks, and manage planning and benchmarking with the FP&A function.
Requirements
- 15+ years of leadership experience in strategic finance
- Experience building and scaling finance teams in high-growth environments
- Experience in SaaS or similar technology organizations
- Understanding of AI and machine-learning market dynamics, pricing strategies, and enterprise sales cycles
- Knowledge of financial planning systems and data visualization tools
- Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Experience with M&A, capital markets, valuation, fundraising, investor relations, and capital raising
- Executive presentation and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning
- Assist fundraising strategy development
- Prepare fundraising, investor-relations, and board-reporting materials
- Analyze strategic decisions, including M&A, investments, partnerships, and capital-market transactions
- Recommend actions based on financial and strategic implications
- Construct scenario models, sensitivity analyses, and contingency plans
- Manage long-term planning and operational and financial benchmarking
