About the Role
You will own investor relationships and communications, prepare investor and board materials, and manage capitalisation reporting and equity processes. You will support fundraising and diligence, track market context, build investor-relations systems, and ensure regulatory compliance for investor communications and disclosures.
Requirements
- Significant experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or a closely related field
- Experience raising Series A through C rounds or investing in these rounds
- Experience working at or raising capital from top-tier Bay Area venture capital firms
- Experience managing investor relationships and regular communications
- Experience preparing board materials, investor updates, and capitalisation reporting
- Familiarity with cap-table management and investor-relations tooling
- Financial modelling, analytical, and investor-facing written communication skills
- Experience supporting equity fundraising, pitch decks, investment memos, and diligence
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline
- Experience in a venture-backed high-growth startup, scale-up, hardware, robotics, deep-tech, or manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day investor relations, updates, reporting, and communications
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective investors
- Prepare investor updates and communications
- Prepare board materials and capitalisation reporting
- Manage the capitalisation table, option grants, RSUs, and equity-related processes
- Maintain investor-facing governance records and disclosures
- Support fundraising through pitch decks, investment memos, financial narratives, data rooms, and diligence
- Track investor sentiment, comparable-company performance, and market conditions
- Establish investor-relations processes, tools, reporting cadences, and engagement tracking
- Ensure investor communications and disclosures comply with regulatory and reporting requirements
