About the Role
You will set and execute a multi-year growth strategy for the events business, expanding Consensus attendance, its global footprint, and its portfolio of regional and niche events. You will own the business unit’s financial performance, develop sponsorship packages, optimize ticket pricing, and maximize profitability. You will oversee data-driven audience acquisition across traditional finance, institutional investors, policymakers, mainstream technology, and the crypto community. You will direct operations, logistics, marketing, programming, and content while steering vendor negotiations, venue selection, and event technology integrations for large-scale, safe, premium experiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale B2B conference production, commercial media, or experiential events
- Proven experience running flagship events with more than 10,000 attendees
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar P&Ls
- Understanding of event economics, digital and physical hybrid infrastructure, and corporate sponsorship sales
- Experience in technology, media, or financial services events
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech
- Advanced knowledge of event technology platforms such as Cvent, Bizzabo, or Hopin
- Knowledge of Salesforce, data analytics platforms, and modern digital marketing stacks
- Executive presence, negotiation skills, and decisiveness in high-pressure environments
