About the Role
DFNS is hiring a Head of Delivery to establish a repeatable delivery discipline for its digital-asset infrastructure platform. The role begins hands-on with flagship deployments, then grows into recruiting and leading a delivery team serving enterprise and financial-institution clients.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience across delivery, solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or enterprise integration, including team leadership.
- Track record of deploying mission-critical systems for banks, financial institutions, or large enterprises.
- Experience building or scaling a delivery or professional services function, including methodology, playbooks, and hiring.
- Strong program management skills with experience coordinating multiple teams, owning schedules, and reporting to executives.
- Strong TypeScript or similar programming experience and proven REST API experience.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, Kubernetes, ECS, microservices, and serverless systems.
- Understanding of enterprise security frameworks including ISO 27001, SOC 2, and NIST.
- Excellent communication skills across technical pairing sessions and executive steering committees.
- Knowledge of blockchain and financial workflows strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel to client sites worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design onboarding playbooks, reference architectures, production runbooks, tooling, and delivery standards.
- Own flagship deployments from specification and configuration through integration, production testing, go-live, and hypercare.
- Coordinate product, engineering, security, and sales execution, including milestones, dependencies, steering committees, and escalations.
- Support client teams hands-on by troubleshooting, fixing, and unblocking deployment issues.
- Recruit and lead forward-deployed engineers, solutions engineers, and solutions architects.
- Develop packaged, fixed-price delivery offerings for implementation, migration, and partner certification.
- Collaborate with sales on implementation plans, statements of work, and RFP responses.
- Feed deployment-specific learnings back into the product and improve documentation and developer guides.
