About the Role
You will own Japan consumer operating plans, forecasts, capacity, fulfillment, inventory, and service-delivery systems. You will coordinate stakeholders across functions, clear operational blockers, improve reporting and operational playbooks, analyze customer journey friction, and represent Japan operational requirements across global sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or another STEM field
- 8+ years of business operations, program management, supply chain, telecommunications, broadband, or consumer-products experience involving Japan
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Japanese
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within Japan and across APAC
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- Own Japan consumer operating plans, timelines, and weekly execution
- Run operating cadence for forecasts, supply, inventory, fulfillment, activation, and performance reviews
- Coordinate consumer hardware, software, logistics, retail, e-commerce, onboarding, and support operations
- Identify and resolve operational blockers
- Match consumer demand to hardware supply and reduce cost to serve
- Improve reporting, KPI integrity, demand-planning inputs, and feedback loops
- Run fulfillment and service-delivery playbooks
- Analyze operational and customer-experience data and drive improvements
- Represent Japan operational requirements to global stakeholders
