About the Role

Lead Plaid's corporate development activities across acquisition and investment sourcing, valuation, deal execution, diligence, negotiation, closing, post-deal integration, market intelligence, and executive and board communications.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience across investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or management consulting.
  • Private equity due diligence experience.
  • Hands-on experience executing deals end-to-end.
  • Experience with sourcing, valuation, financial modeling, diligence, negotiation, and closing.
  • Track record managing multiple complex deals through post-close integration.
  • Analytical rigor and business judgment.
  • Experience building frameworks and processes.
  • Executive presence and excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Prior technology experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own a pipeline of acquisition and investment opportunities.
  • Build relationships with founders, executives, and investors.
  • Develop market and competitive intelligence.
  • Lead end-to-end deal execution, including valuation, financial modeling, diligence, negotiation, and structuring.
  • Partner on post-deal integration and track integration performance.
  • Engage Product, Engineering, and go-to-market teams to qualify opportunities.
  • Prepare board- and executive-ready materials.
