About the Role
You will own US accounting, reporting, and compliance from bookkeeping through technical GAAP decisions, tax filings, and audits. You will lead close processes, coordinate auditors across jurisdictions, manage payroll compliance, and automate finance workflows.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience including Big 4 or public accounting
- Deep US GAAP and financial-statement expertise
- Hands-on US and international tax experience across multi-entity structures
- Experience with complex reconciliations
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced startup
Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger and monthly, quarterly, and annual US GAAP close
- Manage revenue recognition, accruals, capitalization, reconciliations, policies, and internal controls
- Run US federal, state, and international corporate tax activities
- Coordinate external tax advisors and manage cross-border entity structures and transfer pricing
- Own payroll compliance, taxes, filings, and provider relationships
- Lead audits, financial reporting, investor updates, due diligence, dashboards, and variance analysis
- Build and automate finance processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting
