About the Role
You will manage global general ledger accounting and financial close processes. You will prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses; strengthen accounting policies and controls; support audits, reporting, tax filings, and international entity operations; and partner with departments to keep accounting information accurate and timely.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Understanding of internal controls and auditing processes
- ERP system proficiency, including NetSuite
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including large data sets and pivot tables
- Communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with US GAAP
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
- Develop accounting strategies for new international entities
- Standardize accounting policies, procedures, and reporting processes
- Manage external accounting service providers
- Support external reporting, financial statement disclosures, and audits
- Maintain general ledger internal controls
- Support state sales and use tax filings
- Collaborate with departments to ensure timely and accurate accounting information
- Implement accounting best practices and policies
