About the Role
You will maintain accurate general-ledger records for multiple digital-asset legal entities. You will own monthly close activities, reconcile complex transactions and balances, prepare reporting, analyze variances, and improve accounting processes through automation. You will also support audits, tax schedules, and cross-functional data accuracy.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience owning a general ledger, reconciling complex accounts, and improving close processes in a fast-paced multi-entity organization
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- CPA or equivalent strongly preferred
- Analytical skills
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to produce clear and accurate documentation
- Reliable and predictable availability
Responsibilities
- Execute the monthly accounting close for multiple digital-asset entities
- Reconcile transaction-level detail, complex accounts, and high-volume balances
- Prepare and post accounting activity
- Maintain accurate, GAAP-compliant books and records with strong controls
- Analyze monthly variances, trends, and anomalies
- Identify and build process-improvement and automation solutions, including AI initiatives
- Perform ad hoc analyses and streamline accounting processes
- Support external audits and prepare tax-return schedules
- Collaborate with tax, operations, and data teams to ensure financial-data accuracy
