About the Role
You will prepare and review annual financial statements and disclosures, support month-end and year-end close activities, and manage intercompany and multi-currency accounting. You will reconcile accounts, analyse variances, ensure compliance with UK and US GAAP, support audits and tax provisions, and improve accounting processes.
Requirements
- ACA or ACCA qualification
- At least three years of audit experience
- Knowledge of UK accounting standards, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
- Experience with multi-entity consolidations and intercompany accounting
- Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Ability to use AI tools for financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes while validating outputs and maintaining confidentiality

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review annual financial statements and footnote disclosures for designated entities and UK consolidated financial statements
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage intercompany accounting across domestic and international entities
- Handle multi-currency transactions, revaluation, and translation
- Prepare balance-sheet reconciliations and resolve issues
- Prepare balance-sheet and income-statement variance analyses
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, and internal controls
- Research and review technical accounting questions
- Support external audits and tax provisions
- Identify and implement close-process improvements and automation opportunities
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses
- Assist with special projects
