About the Role
You will partner with budget owners to align financial plans with strategic goals, perform variance analysis, build scenario-driven models, improve planning processes and reporting automation, support annual budgets and long-range plans, and assist with strategic vendor negotiations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in a demanding finance or analytical role
- Experience with corporate FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Experience in a fast-paced technology or biotechnology company
- 2–3 years as an Investment Banking Analyst or consultant at a major consulting firm
- Advanced spreadsheet modeling, pivot table, lookup, and chart visualization skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with budget owners to align financial plans with strategic goals
- Perform variance analysis against forecasts and budgets
- Develop scenario-driven financial models for initiatives, programs, and capital expenditures
- Improve FP&A processes, reporting automation, and financial system utilization
- Develop and present annual operating budgets, long-range plans, and forecasts
- Support strategic vendor negotiations to reduce operational costs
