About the Role
You will lead technical capture efforts for European opportunities, align solutions with product roadmaps and customer needs, and support customer demonstrations. You will develop proposals and technical collateral, advise business-development teams, liaise with engineering, and analyze regional operational needs.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical presales, business development, or solutions engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
- Experience with U.S. Federal or international government requirements
- Technical knowledge of aircraft, UAS, multispectral sensor systems, AI, autonomy, and defense technology
- Technical writing ability for RFIs, abstracts, and quad charts
- Analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
- Communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Lead technical capture efforts for European opportunities
- Manage customer engagements, presales support, proposal contributions, and solution development
- Develop technical strategies and compliant proposals
- Serve as the primary technical lead for European go-to-market engagements
- Manage technical content for proposals, RFIs, white papers, and capability briefs
- Provide product expertise during customer engagements and solution discussions
- Liaise between business development and engineering on customer requests
- Maintain technical documentation and sales collateral
- Train and mentor business-development teams on technical solutions
- Support competitive analysis and market intelligence
- Support customer demonstrations as an on-site V-BAT subject-matter expert
- Improve business-development workflows and technical capture strategies
- Analyze regional operational factors and produce product-roadmap briefs
