About the Role

You will lead complex technical troubleshooting and set standards for field technicians. You will operate, maintain, repair, and integrate robotic welding cells; perform preventive maintenance; analyze performance data; manage inventory; coach technicians; support customers; and collaborate with engineering on systemic fixes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems
• Experience in a lead, senior, or team-lead role
• Technical training, trade school certification, Associate degree in Engineering Technology, or equivalent industry experience
• Familiarity with robotic systems, automation equipment, and electromechanical troubleshooting
• Familiarity with fabrication or machine shop processes
• Comfort with programming languages and command-line tools
• Communication skills
• Experience handling small, fragile, or high-precision components
• English fluency

Responsibilities

• Lead complex troubleshooting and set technical standards
• Operate, maintain, and repair multi-robotic welding systems and automation equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance, validate repairs, and track cell performance
• Integrate autonomous welding cells into customer manufacturing processes
• Operate Forge cells through command prompts and code changes
• Load and inspect welded assemblies using robotic vision systems
• Analyze data to reduce repeat failures
• Manage parts and assembly inventory
• Build and deliver technician onboarding and ramp programs
• Coach technicians and reinforce work and documentation standards
• Develop team members and review progress
• Coordinate scheduling with operations
• Communicate customer status and risks
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve issues
• Travel to customer sites
