About the Role
You will conduct field sales activities within your assigned territory to identify, approach, and onboard small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) merchants. You will promote and sell payment solutions such as QR payments, e-wallets, and POS terminals to target businesses, and build strong relationships with merchants to drive satisfaction and growth. You will handle the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, coordinate with Product, Operations, and Technical teams, negotiate merchant discount rates and commercial terms, and serve as the primary point of contact for merchant concerns and support. You will also monitor merchant performance to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and stay informed about local SME market trends to guide your sales strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, door-to-door selling, merchant acquisition, or business development, preferably in fintech, banking, or e-commerce
- Fresh graduates with strong potential and a positive attitude are also welcome to apply
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain lasting SME relationships
- Willingness to work on the ground and travel within assigned territories
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to speak and understand the local dialect in the assigned region is an advantage
- Must be currently residing within the assigned territory
Responsibilities

- Promote and sell payment solutions such as QR payments, e-wallets, and POS terminals to target businesses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SME merchants to drive satisfaction, transaction growth, and retention
- Handle the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, coordinating with Product, Operations, and Technical teams
- Negotiate merchant discount rates (MDRs) and commercial terms in line with company policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for merchant concerns, inquiries, and after-sales support
- Monitor merchant performance and transaction activity to identify cross-selling, upselling, and reactivation opportunities
- Stay informed about local SME market trends, competitor activities, and business dynamics to guide sales strategies
