About the Role
You will conduct field sales activities within your assigned territory to identify, approach, and onboard small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) merchants. You will promote and sell the company's payment solutions, such as QR payments, e-wallets, and POS terminals, to target businesses. You will build and maintain strong relationships with SME merchants to drive satisfaction, transaction growth, and long-term retention. You will handle the end-to-end merchant onboarding process, coordinating with Product, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure smooth activation. You will negotiate merchant discount rates and commercial terms in line with company policies and objectives. You will serve as the primary point of contact for merchant concerns, inquiries, and after-sales support. You will monitor merchant performance and transaction activity, identifying opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and reactivation. You will stay informed about local SME market trends, competitor activities, and business dynamics to guide sales strategies and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
- 1–3 years of experience in field sales, door-to-door selling, merchant acquisition, or business development — preferably in fintech, banking, or e-commerce
- Fresh graduates with strong potential and a positive, can-do attitude are also welcome to apply
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a fast-paced, field-based environment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain lasting SME relationships
- Willingness to work on the ground and travel within assigned territories
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to speak and understand the local dialect in the assigned region is an advantage
- Must be currently residing within the assigned territory
