About the Role
You will design and execute in-person, hybrid, and virtual events across the organization. You will lead event preparation, coordinate execution across teams, connect policy work to event programming, and align programming with communications goals. You will manage logistics, budgets, contracts, venues, vendors, catering, production, audiovisual services, reservations, and transportation. You will anticipate challenges, develop solutions, and help executives succeed before stakeholder audiences.
Requirements
- Strategic vision for using events to support positive policy impact
- Excellent written, verbal, and in-person communication skills
- Stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
- Experience managing contractor and vendor relationships
- Project and event management skills, including budgeting and contract management
- Ability to follow through on action plans and create organizational structure
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple issues simultaneously
- Creativity in designing event programming for diverse stakeholders and audiences
Responsibilities
- Lead event preparation and coordinate execution across teams
- Connect leadership and policy staff stories to event programming
- Align event programming with strategic communications goals
- Manage end-to-end logistics for major in-person and hybrid events and meetings
- Source venues and vendors and manage related contracts
- Manage event budgets and action plans
- Anticipate challenges and develop solutions with internal teams and partner organizations
- Design and execute in-person, hybrid, and virtual events
