About the Role

You will lead the ED&I strategy and implementation plan, advise leaders and improve policies, funding processes and events. You will measure progress, report recommendations, deliver learning activities and help teams make equitable decisions across the organisation.

Requirements

  • Have significant experience influencing organisational change in equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-discrimination and intersectionality
  • Have experience reviewing systems, policies and organisational practices to improve equity outcomes
  • Have experience embedding ED&I principles in R&D funding
  • Demonstrate facilitation, stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • Use data, evidence and lived-experience insights in decision-making
  • Demonstrate communication and relationship-building skills
  • Submit a CV and cover letter

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the ED&I strategy and implementation plan
  • Embed equity into strategy, planning and decision-making
  • Advise and challenge senior leaders, managers and teams
  • Review policies, processes and systems through an equity lens
  • Improve funding criteria, application processes and assessment frameworks
  • Design experiments to increase diversity in the funding pool
  • Develop inclusive and accessible approaches to events
  • Measure ED&I progress and produce recommendations
  • Design and deliver training and workshops
  • Facilitate discussions on equity-related issues
