About the Role
You will support people-governance activities across risk, compliance, audit, legal, information security, and regulatory requirements. You will manage people risk and compliance projects, advise stakeholders, coordinate governance meetings and reporting, monitor controls, and keep local policies compliant and current.
Requirements
- English verbal and written communication
- Degree qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience supporting a people team or working in governance, risk, compliance, or audit
- Knowledge of people compliance, data privacy, audits, risk event management, and people policies and procedures
- Experience improving governance systems and processes
- Employment law knowledge
- Ability to apply employment law pragmatically
- Customer relationship management
- Planning and deadline management
Responsibilities
- Support people risk management processes and use the Risk and Control system
- Provide people-governance guidance on regulatory obligations, industry standards, legislation, and risk events
- Act as a contact for people-related regulatory, governance, and second-line risk queries
- Coordinate first-line governance meetings and regional reporting
- Monitor and report key people risk controls
- Provide guidance on regulatory matters and regional compliance requirements
- Deliver timely people-governance advice
- Review and update local people policies
- Create documentation where policy gaps are identified
- Manage people risk and compliance projects
- Administer business-as-usual people-team activities
