About the Role

You will define the architecture vision, principles, and target state for investment, data, analytics, reporting, client, and operational platforms. You will govern solution designs, lead cloud and legacy modernization, establish enterprise AI strategy, guide transformation roadmaps, and embed security, resilience, continuity, and regulatory controls into architecture.

Requirements

• Hold a bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, with a master's degree preferred.
• Have at least ten years of enterprise or solution architecture experience in financial services.
• Understand asset management domains including investments, risk, operations, and distribution.
• Have experience in regulated, high-availability environments.
• Communicate complex concepts effectively to senior stakeholders.
• Possess expertise in data architecture and analytics platforms.
• Have cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP in regulated environments.
• Understand APIs, event streaming, messaging, service-oriented architecture, microservices, and domain-driven design.
• Have hands-on coding experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, C, or C++.
• Understand relational and NoSQL databases.
• Have experience with streaming and distributed systems frameworks.
• Understand secure architectures and modern web stacks.
• Preferably hold TOGAF and cloud certifications.
• Apply advanced problem-solving and influential communication across global teams.
• Guide software architecture decisions and evaluate integration methods.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain architecture vision, principles, and target states across investment, data, analytics, reporting, client, distribution, servicing, and operational platforms.
• Align architecture with business strategies and commercial outcomes.
• Define enterprise architecture for investment, market, reference, and client data.
• Enable analytics, risk modeling, and performance attribution.
• Promote data governance, lineage, quality, privacy, and access controls.
• Establish architecture standards and approved cloud, data, integration, and security patterns.
• Govern solution designs for consistency, reuse, and strategic alignment.
• Drive technology rationalization and vendor and platform strategy.
• Lead cloud and hybrid architecture strategy within regulatory constraints.
• Modernize legacy trading, settlement, accounting, and reporting systems.
• Support partnerships with fintech and market infrastructure providers.
• Define enterprise AI strategy for investment insights, operational efficiency, and client experience.
• Identify AI and machine learning integration opportunities across Aladdin.
• Establish ethical AI governance, regulatory compliance, and risk controls.
• Guide decisions concerning AI platforms, tooling, and vendors.
• Lead front-to-back modernization, data transformation, merger integration, and platform consolidation architecture.
• Identify technical debt and define remediation roadmaps.
• Embed resilience, continuity, and disaster recovery into designs.
• Partner with risk, compliance, legal, and cybersecurity functions to implement controls by design.
