About the Role
In this role, you will articulate Built's value proposition to executives at large commercial real estate developers, investors, and general contractors. You will develop and execute a sales strategy within your assigned market segment, understand prospects' businesses through excellent discovery and qualification, and deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to C-suite executives and decision-makers who may have limited software experience. You will qualify prospects, build business cases such as ROI and workflow illustrations, and progress opportunities through companies of various types and sizes involved in construction to close software agreements. You will coordinate with executive management and internal teams including client services, product, marketing, and sales engineers to ensure a great client experience and continuously improve processes and products. You will rapidly learn the market, the decision-makers, the products, and the value propositions while meeting or exceeding agreed-upon quotas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of experience running the full sales cycle of a software solution using a consultative approach
- Enterprise software sales experience, especially in slow-to-adopt or complex verticals
- Understanding of and/or experience with finance or construction industries is a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge/experience regarding back-office operations
- Proven record of exceeding revenue targets
- Superb interpersonal, writing, and presentation skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Unquestionable integrity, work ethic, and sense of ownership
- Comfortable working in a high-growth environment
- Must be based in Dallas, TX, and willing to travel frequently throughout the region and nationally as needed (up to 50%)
