About the Role
You will lead a team responsible for observability, reliability, and secure integrations supporting monetization workflows. You will set technical direction, develop team members, and establish incident-response practices. You will design telemetry across CustomersDot, Salesforce, and Zuora; improve fulfillment-system reliability and data quality; implement billing anomaly detection; and guide integrations for pricing, billing, provisioning, subscriptions, and usage. You will partner with engineering, product, finance, customer service, and go-to-market stakeholders to safely deliver changes to revenue-impacting systems.
Requirements
- Experience managing product, platform, or development teams
- Strong technical judgment in architecture, system design, and delivery for complex integrations and business-critical workflows
- Experience with purchasing, billing, provisioning, subscription, commerce, or other revenue-impacting systems
- Knowledge of observability-first architectures, including Prometheus, Grafana, and incident management tooling
- Experience defining service level indicators and targets, writing runbooks, and coordinating incident management
- Strong collaboration and written communication skills in asynchronous, handbook-first teams
- Ability to translate complex technical and product issues for technical and non-technical audiences
- Sound judgment handling confidential or financial information, customer-facing incidents, and revenue-impacting changes

- Architect end-to-end telemetry and observability across CustomersDot, Salesforce, and Zuora
- Implement automated billing anomaly detection
- Define integration strategy between customer-facing monetization services and enterprise applications
- Drive an AI-native engineering approach using machine learning and AI-enabled tooling
- Hire and grow a high-performing team
- Guide architecture and implementation discussions
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate changes in revenue-impacting systems
- Establish incident management practices, rollout safeguards, and operational standards
