About the Role

You will lead the program for sourcing powered land, powered-shell, and turnkey opportunities. You will conduct site diligence, negotiate leases and development structures, direct vendor evaluations and site audits, coordinate technical requirements, forecast capacity, and build and mentor the site-selection function.

Requirements

• Experience leading hyperscale data-center site acquisitions from initial review through signature.
• Experience personally negotiating powered-land and site-development deals.
• Experience closing large multi-party leases, PSAs, and joint ventures while managing a multi-site portfolio.
• Experience evaluating title, geotechnical, permitting, and utility diligence.
• Established relationships with brokers, landowners, and developers.
• Experience building scalable site-selection processes and systems.
• Experience with behind-the-meter and bridge-to-utility power solutions, joint-venture structuring, project finance, large-load interconnection, and utility tariffs.
• Ability to travel 20% or more.

Responsibilities

• Manage and scale the program for sourcing US powered land, powered-shell, and turnkey opportunities.
• Conduct utility, power, buildability, environmental, permitting, and schedule diligence for candidate sites.
• Negotiate leases, PSAs, and joint-venture structures and assess deal financeability and multi-year costs.
• Direct vendor due diligence and on-site audits with specialist engineers.
• Coordinate with design stakeholders to ensure sites meet technical scale and design requirements.
• Own capacity planning and forecasting across clients and regions.
• Build and mentor the site-selection team.
