About the Role
You will lead the Laboratory Protection Division's strategy, business planning, budgets, staff development, security, and emergency-management operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage stakeholder relationships, authorize safe work, implement DOE requirements, and improve management systems.
Requirements
- BS or BA degree
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in US military, law enforcement, DOE security, or emergency management roles
- At least five years in a management or leadership role
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Secret Compartmented Information clearance
- Pass a pre-placement drug test and participate in random drug testing
- Availability for work outside normal hours and occasional travel

- Recruit, develop, motivate, and retain emergency management and security staff
