About the Role

You will lead day-to-day operations at the Mojave site, including propulsion and flight testing, manufacturing support, facilities, and safety. You will manage test campaigns, operational planning, budgets, performance reporting, scalable processes, stakeholder relationships, and a multidisciplinary site team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a US Government clearance
  • US citizenship
  • 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in aerospace, space, defense, or advanced manufacturing/test operations
  • Experience managing a manufacturing, propulsion test, or flight test facility with responsibility for safety, schedule, cost, and quality
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering, test, operations, manufacturing, quality, and safety teams
  • Experience with ERP systems, labor tracking, KPIs, and operational performance measurement
  • Ability to work on-site in Mojave, California
  • US Person status and eligibility for required export authorizations

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day Mojave site operations, including propulsion testing, flight testing, manufacturing support, facilities, and site safety
  • Lead planning and execution of flight test campaigns and GN&C technology testing
  • Manage the operating budget, cost controls, capacity planning, ERP utilization, labor tracking, and performance dashboards
  • Align site execution with program and business objectives
  • Establish scalable schedules and processes for higher-rate operations
  • Represent the site to customers, government stakeholders, the Mojave Air and Space Port, and the local community
  • Build, lead, and develop a safety-first multidisciplinary site team
  • Drive continuous improvement in site processes, tooling, and reporting
