About the Role
You will own daily financial operations for digital assets, including wallet and custody administration, transaction approvals, settlement, position monitoring, and end-to-end reconciliation. You will establish accounting and control requirements, support financial close, work with custodians and exchanges, build automation, and report positions and exposures to senior stakeholders and auditors.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience in financial operations treasury accounting controllership or investment banking
- 2–3 years of digital assets industry experience
- Strong accounting foundation and command of financial statements
- Experience owning custody wallets settlement and reconciliation for digital assets
- Knowledge of digital asset accounting under U.S. GAAP
- Experience with fair value measurement and related disclosures
- Strong attention to detail and process-building experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive audiences
- Familiarity with lending fintech blockchain stablecoins or tokenized assets is a plus
- Prior public company experience is a plus
- Experience designing and operating SOX control environments is preferred
- Follow company security policies and data handling procedures
- Complete mandatory security awareness training
- Report suspected security incidents or suspicious activity
Responsibilities
- Manage daily digital asset financial operations
- Administer wallets and custody processes
- Execute transactions and approval workflows
- Monitor settlements and daily positions
- Reconcile on-chain data with sub-ledgers and the general ledger
- Define operational accounting and control requirements for launches
- Support fair value measurement cost basis and disclosures
- Design and operate SOX controls segregation of duties and approval thresholds
- Coordinate with custodians exchanges and counterparties
- Build automation for reconciliation reporting and controls
- Report digital asset positions flows and exposures
