About the Role
You will lead electrical design from utility service through rack power delivery. You will develop reference architectures, perform power-system studies, review partner designs, coordinate utilities and vendors, and support construction, commissioning, and modular deployment.
Requirements
- 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in mission-critical facilities
- Experience with data center electrical distribution design through handover
- Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, UL, and ANSI standards
- Experience with prefabricated and modular electrical infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with electrical construction documents and single-line diagrams
- Knowledge of rack layout, structured cabling, power distribution, and cooling infrastructure
- Power systems analysis experience using SKM, ETAP, or EasyPower
- Knowledge of critical power topologies
- Experience working with electrical manufacturers, vendors, and contractors
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical design for critical data center equipment
- Develop electrical reference architectures and specifications
- Perform and validate power-system engineering studies
- Design data center hall layouts and power distribution
- Develop prefabricated and modular electrical systems
- Review electrical design packages and shop drawings
- Coordinate with equipment vendors, utilities, and regulators
- Support construction, commissioning, and field issue resolution
- Manage concurrent projects and site reviews
- Improve electrical design standards and delivery practices
