About the Role
Lead Coins' entry into the UAE market by building a market-entry plan focused on outbound remittances from Dubai, developing partnerships, growing transactions and payment volume, overseeing compliance alignment with VARA, and representing the company with regulators and leadership.
Requirements
- Must be based in the UAE.
- Senior fintech, payments, or remittances leadership experience in the UAE.
- Demonstrated ability to build a new market presence and convert partnerships into volume.
- Strong understanding of crypto, stablecoins, and stablecoin-enabled remittance economics.
- Prior experience engaging UAE regulators, ideally VARA.
- Gravitas to represent the firm credibly.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the UAE market-entry plan.
- Drive partnerships that accelerate adoption using stablecoin rails where appropriate.
- Deliver transaction and volume growth across remittances and payments within 12-18 months.
- Provide executive oversight of the compliance agenda and scaled controls.
- Maintain senior-level engagement with VARA and establish regulatory credibility.
- Connect Dubai market realities with Coins.ph leadership and international expansion priorities.
- Create momentum quickly from a standing start.
