About the Role
You will lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians, set objectives, and support capability development. You will oversee corrosion testing, expertise, and R&D activities; ensure technical quality; define experimental methods; manage resources, budgets, performance, quality, costs, and deadlines; and contribute to technical and commercial proposals.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in materials science, ideally corrosion
- Knowledge of metallurgy, chemistry, and mechanics
- At least three years of experience as a laboratory manager or manager
- Current English
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers and technicians
- Set individual and collective objectives
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Oversee corrosion testing, expertise, and R&D activities
- Ensure the technical quality of studies and tests
- Define experimental methodologies
- Manage the section activity portfolio, resources, budgets, and testing facilities
- Monitor performance, quality, cost, and schedule indicators
- Contribute to technical and commercial proposals
- Identify investment and testing-facility needs
