About the Role
Join Ripple's London-based legal team supporting financial services and digital asset projects, with a focus on capital markets, traded products, and prime brokerage.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales.
- 5–8 years' PQE in capital markets, traded products, and/or prime brokerage.
- Knowledge of financial services, traded products, and capital markets.
- Familiarity with digital assets preferred.
- Strong understanding of UK and EU financial services regulation.
- Experience in-house at a financial institution or in top-tier private practice.
- Ability to present sophisticated legal issues clearly and provide practical legal advice.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate commercial agreements supporting products, partnerships, and multiple business lines.
- Collaborate with business and product teams on new products and services.
- Advise on UK, EU, and international financial services regulation, licensing, and regulatory engagement.
- Assist with corporate governance and general legal matters.
- Provide legal support for prime brokerage, execution platforms, and traded products.
- Support financial services and digital asset activities including cross-border payments, stablecoin issuance, and custodial solutions.
