About the Role
You will develop a strategy for legal content and data partnerships, source and evaluate providers, and negotiate complex licensing agreements. You will assess legal corpora, build business cases, coordinate content integration with internal stakeholders, and maintain long-term partner relationships.
Requirements
- Practice law in the United States or have experience building tools for lawyers
- Understand legal research corpora; litigation experience is strongly preferred
- Develop executive relationships and negotiate complex contracts
- Collaborate with product teams on technology solutions
- Understand AI applications in knowledge work
- Communicate and influence effectively across internal functions
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for legal content and data partnerships
- Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with legal content and data providers
- Assess legal corpora for coverage, depth, update cadence, metadata, and rights
- Negotiate complex licensing agreements
- Conduct quantitative analysis and create executive business cases
- Coordinate the integration of new content sources with product, engineering, finance, legal, and go-to-market stakeholders
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key partners
- Operate autonomously as a proactive executor and strategic thinker
