About the Role
You will shape acquisition strategies and deal structures for government opportunities. You will evaluate contract vehicles, build relationships with acquisition stakeholders, lead pricing and proposal strategy, coordinate capture-to-award execution, and advise leaders on procurement choices and risks.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in US Government acquisition, capture, government contracting, or complex public-sector business development
- Success shaping and advancing complex government opportunities from early customer engagement through award
- Practical knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, contracting vehicles, and acquisition stakeholders
- Hands-on experience with pricing, deal structure, proposal strategy, and business-case development
- Judgment, communication, relationship-building, and project-leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Develop opportunity-specific capture and acquisition strategies
- Evaluate and recommend acquisition pathways and contract vehicles
- Build relationships with contracting officers, acquisition professionals, program offices, and customer stakeholders
- Lead pricing and deal-structure development, including ROMs, quotes, proposals, licensing models, and service configurations
- Drive capture-to-award execution and support customer communications and negotiations
- Shape teaming, subcontracting, and partner strategies
- Advise business and executive leaders on procurement requirements, choices, and tradeoffs
- Build reusable acquisition playbooks from lessons learned
