About the Role
You will own GDPR compliance operations, data subject requests, privacy documentation, and compliance assessments. You will advise product, ML, and technology teams on privacy-by-design practices, monitor relevant privacy laws, and manage commercial contracts. You will also support broader legal matters, including trademarks, corporate, labour, and public-affairs work.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of data protection or privacy legal experience
- Experience drafting DPAs, DPIAs, and LIAs
- Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial and sales contracts
- Master's degree in law
- Fluency in French and English
- Ability to work with ML, infrastructure, front-end, and back-end teams
- Knowledge of AI technologies and the EU AI Act
Responsibilities
- Run GDPR compliance operations and manage data subject requests
- Maintain privacy documentation, including processing records, DPAs, and privacy policies
- Produce compliance assessments, including DPIAs and LIAs
- Embed privacy and security compliance into product development
- Monitor privacy-law developments and brief relevant stakeholders
- Review, draft, and negotiate sales agreements
- Manage commercial contract requests from business teams
- Support trademark, corporate, labour, and public-affairs matters
