About the Role
You will advise product and engineering teams on banking-product design, launches, and changes. You will assess regulatory risk, review customer-facing materials and disclosures, coordinate with sponsor banks, maintain compliance controls, and lead audits, responses, and remediation tracking.
Requirements
- 7+ years of financial services compliance experience
- Experience in banking and fintech environments
- Experience working with bank partners and state and federal regulatory agencies
- Knowledge of UDAAP, EFTA, TISA, and money transmission laws
- Experience designing and scaling compliance programs for consumer financial products
- Regulatory risk assessment skills
- Ability to translate regulatory guidance into actionable product requirements
- Analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure banking products and process changes meet applicable regulations
- Perform compliance risk assessments for banking and consumer protection regulations
- Review marketing materials, customer communications, and disclosures for regulatory compliance
- Coordinate due diligence and ongoing compliance activities with sponsor banks and third-party partners
- Maintain and improve banking compliance policies, procedures, and controls
- Lead regulatory, partner, and internal audits, including responses and remediation tracking
