About the Role

You will lead commercial lines sales strategies, grow agency partnerships, expand territory coverage, establish performance goals, and drive premium growth. You will build relationships with independent agents and brokers, provide sales support and training, monitor insurance market trends, and occasionally travel to agent offices.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of sales experience at a property and casualty insurance company or agency
  • Property and casualty insurance market knowledge
  • Understanding of competitive landscapes and underwriting considerations
  • Experience with homeowners or coastal property insurance preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute sales strategies to acquire and grow agency partnerships
  • Identify new market opportunities and optimize territory coverage
  • Establish and track sales goals, performance metrics, and incentive programs
  • Cultivate relationships with independent agents and brokers
  • Onboard, train, and engage agency partners
  • Provide sales support, product knowledge, market insights, and competitive positioning
  • Act as a trusted advisor and escalation point for agency partners
  • Monitor property and casualty insurance trends and regulatory developments
  • Visit agent offices and deliver monthly reports
