About the Role
You will draft, negotiate, and advise on commercial contracts, including AI-related service agreements. You will translate AI legal and regulatory developments into contract updates, partner with technical and business stakeholders on compliant AI deployments, train the business on legal matters, and support other legal topics as needed.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant legal experience involving contract negotiation
- Experience in a technology or AI-focused environment is preferred
- Understanding of artificial intelligence technologies and applications
- Knowledge of data privacy, intellectual property, contract law, liability, regulation, and compliance
- Legal and technical issue analysis and risk assessment skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly
- International experience is preferred
- Knowledge of AI ethical considerations, including fairness, transparency, accountability, and bias mitigation
Responsibilities
- Draft and provide strategic advice on commercial and AI-related service agreements
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, partners, customers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor AI-related legal and regulatory developments and adapt contracts accordingly
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to ensure compliant AI deployments
- Provide training and support on AI legal compliance and contract negotiation
- Support additional legal matters, including labor, corporate, and competition law
