About the Role

You will advise stakeholders on legal issues, lead negotiations for commercial and data-licensing agreements, and create scalable contracting processes. You will work with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations to structure business-aligned agreements and provide actionable legal guidance.

Requirements

  • Be licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction
  • Hold a JD from a top law school
  • Have 3–6 years of legal experience
  • Have technology transactions, IP, emerging companies, or relevant in-house experience
  • Have experience independently owning and closing commercial agreements
  • Know IP licensing, privacy, data-use rights, and AI
  • Have experience implementing and managing legal technology tools
  • Have an interest in technology, software, and finance

Responsibilities

  • Advise stakeholders on legal issues and concepts
  • Lead end-to-end negotiations of high-value MSAs and other commercial agreements
  • Own negotiations with data and content providers, including data-licensing and partnership agreements
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Security, and Operations to structure business-aligned agreements
  • Implement and manage commercial contracting infrastructure, including legal technology tools, templates, playbooks, and approval workflows
  • Partner with the Head of Legal on strategic initiatives
