About the Role
You will negotiate enterprise commercial agreements and support high-value sales transactions. You will build contract playbooks and workflows, support governance and compliance, advise on commercial legal matters and regulations, and provide corporate governance and fundraising support when needed.
Requirements
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California bar in good standing or authorization to practice law
- 6+ years of relevant legal experience
- At least 2 years of in-house experience at a high-growth SaaS company
- Experience with enterprise software agreements and technology transactions
- Ability to balance legal risk and business objectives
- Written communication

Responsibilities
- Negotiate SaaS, on-premises, master service, nondisclosure, vendor, consulting, data processing, and partnership agreements
- Lead legal support for complex enterprise sales transactions
- Build relationships with customer legal teams
- Develop contract playbooks, template agreements, and sales processes
- Implement legal tools and systems to improve workflows and deal visibility
- Support governance, risk, and compliance programs
- Collaborate across sales, finance, HR, product, and engineering
- Provide strategic guidance on commercial legal matters, regulations, and market trends
- Support corporate governance and fundraising
