About the Role
You will support complex commercial transactions across APAC, including SaaS, licensing, and strategic partnerships. You will draft and negotiate agreements, advise cross-functional teams, monitor legal and regulatory developments, localize templates and policies, and assess risks involving data protection, technology, and AI.
Requirements
- Law degree
- Qualification to practice law in a relevant APAC jurisdiction
- 7+ years of relevant post-qualification legal experience
- In-house experience in technology or SaaS preferred
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements
- Knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property
- Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues
- Communication skills

Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements for APAC GTM and sales transactions
- Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams on go-to-market strategies
- Monitor and interpret regional legal and regulatory developments
- Apply legal and regulatory knowledge to contract drafting and risk assessment
- Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies
- Provide practical commercial legal advice to cross-functional teams
- Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function
