About the Role
You will define cloud strategy and lead architecture, implementation, optimization, and support for multi-cloud infrastructure. You will manage cloud engineers, set priorities, support internal customers, improve connectivity and observability, and handle complex production escalations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of technical cloud engineering and administration experience
- 4+ years managing and leading cloud engineers
- Strategic vision and technical leadership
- Experience delivering secure, scalable, high-performance cloud solutions
- Knowledge of cloud networking, cloud security, and infrastructure as code
- Knowledge of Terraform, Python, CI/CD, and Git
- Knowledge of cost visibility and FinOps practices
- Communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud platforms
- Own the cloud roadmap and strategic priorities
- Mentor, grow, and lead cloud engineers
- Manage hiring, performance reviews, career development, and workload allocation
- Deliver cloud solutions for internal customer teams
- Coordinate with security, networking, and technology groups on resilient cloud connectivity
- Establish observability, monitoring, and alerting
- Act as an escalation point for complex production issues
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
