About the Role

You will lead engineers responsible for the strategy, delivery, and operation of cross-platform client foundations. You will set technical direction, develop engineers, guide architectural decisions, improve secure fleet operations, and establish operating practices that deliver reliable, low-friction employee experiences.

Requirements

• Experience building and leading teams that own secure, reliable, mission-critical services and infrastructure at scale.
• Experience delivering internal platforms, tooling, and services that improve reliability, security, and employee experience.
• Sound software and infrastructure engineering judgment at scale.
• Experience reviewing architecture, automation, code, IaC/GitOps, CI/CD, observability, and operational tradeoffs.
• Experience operating infrastructure with material security or identity risk.
• Commitment to joining the engineering on-call rotation after ramp-up.
• Experience building inclusive teams and influencing Security, IT, and Product/Engineering partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop an engineering team.
• Define and execute the multi-year client-platform strategy and roadmap.
• Provide technical direction for endpoint posture, device trust, application delivery, onboarding, updates, telemetry, workflow orchestration, and remediation.
• Guide architecture and tradeoffs across services, tooling, SaaS platforms, IaC/GitOps, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish goals, ownership, planning, design reviews, and execution rhythms.
• Improve reliability and security through observability, staged rollouts, release gates, rollback paths, incident learning, and runbooks.
• Partner with Security, IT, Research, Applied, Product, and engineering teams to deliver company-wide changes.
• Define agent and human approval boundaries and auditability.
• Use operational and employee-experience metrics to guide investment and communicate impact.
