About the Role

You will own global business development and ecosystem growth, defining and executing strategies to drive real-world adoption with a focus on institutional and financial use cases. You will lead efforts across on-chain capital markets, ecosystem partnerships, impact and humanitarian payments, and regional operations in India. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to align roadmaps with commercial demand, structure commercial and incentive plans (including token-based economics), build a high-performing BD organization, manage pipeline with clear metrics and OKRs, and establish partner onboarding, go-to-market, and partner support processes to ensure long-term partnership success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial leadership, business development, or partnerships with exposure to payments, fintech, and blockchain/crypto
  • Proven track record building revenue pipeline and closing revenue generating partnerships for platform-driven models
  • Strong network across payments, fintech, banking, finance, or Web3
  • Extensive experience structuring complex Web3 deals and managing end-to-end deal processes
  • Experience leading senior, globally distributed teams in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Deep understanding of digital payments, blockchain infrastructure, crypto markets, tokenization, and on-chain financial systems
  • Experience driving global partnerships in developing countries and emerging markets (experience with India, Africa/Middle East, or Latam required)
  • Experience with Layer 1 or Layer 2 blockchain protocols preferred
  • Clear compelling communication, strategic judgment, resource allocation, and execution discipline

  • Evaluate strategic BD and partnership opportunities and build market presence
  • Lead Impact and Humanitarian Payments efforts and scale adoption
  • Expand and scale India business development as a regional hub
  • Structure commercial and incentive plans across deal types
  • Build and lead a high functioning business development organization
  • Establish pipeline management processes with clear metrics and OKRs
  • Create partnership management function for onboarding, GTM, and support
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to align roadmap with commercial demand
