About the Role

You will coordinate development-focused vehicle test missions, monitor proprietary tooling, and provide safe remote command and triage support. You will translate test observations into actionable feedback, document and escalate issues, help refine command-center workflows, and support continuous-improvement projects.

Requirements

• Read and accurately execute technical test procedures
• Monitor proprietary tooling on a laptop for extended periods
• Maintain knowledge of the self-driving stack and daily operational changes
• Proactively surface questions when procedures or tooling change
• Hold a valid U.S. driver's license with 5+ years of driving history and a clean MVR record
• Pass initial and random drug and alcohol screenings
• Work day, night, and weekend shifts on a 4x10 schedule
• Travel up to 30%
• Work 100% in office with travel as needed
• G-Suite
• Command-line interface
• Slack documentation and reporting workflows
• Ticketing systems
• Jira workflows

Responsibilities

• Send scheduled test assignments and provide monitoring, triage, and remote command support
• Read test procedures and translate observations into operational feedback
• Refine commercial command-center practices for development use cases
• Provide structured feature and tool performance feedback
• Respond to trigger requests and emergencies with safe remote commands
• Contribute to triage-driven continuous-improvement initiatives
• Escalate complex issues to Vehicle Reliability Engineering with complete documentation
• Escalate operational blockers and suggested solutions
• Represent Aurora professionally when interacting with the public
