About the Role
You will lead remote operations and feature-testing activities, convert testing priorities into operational plans, coordinate resources across locations, manage VSOs, resolve blockers, oversee safety escalations, and improve testing delivery through operational data and feedback.
Requirements
- Operational management experience in automotive testing, fleet operations, logistics, technology operations, or another fast-paced operational environment.
- People leadership experience with direct management of operational teams.
- Ability to translate priorities into operational plans.
- Knowledge of resource planning, shift planning, and performance management.
- Experience managing operational KPIs and improving performance.
- Cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Experience in a controlled or safety-sensitive environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work across teams and influence priorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead remote operations and feature-testing delivery.
- Translate testing priorities into tactical plans.
- Coordinate testing across locations and countries.
- Align testing priorities and delivery plans with stakeholders.
- Prioritise testing based on resources, readiness, safety, and risk.
- Deliver daily testing safely and in line with KPIs.
- Balance vehicle availability, staffing, shifts, and testing requirements.
- Resolve operational blockers.
- Manage Remote Operations and Feature Testing VSOs.
- Communicate and implement processes and SOPs.
- Escalate safety concerns, risks, and serious incidents.
- Improve planning and testing delivery using data and feedback.
