About the Role
You will own building the BDR team from the ground up. You will recruit, interview, and hire resilient BDRs and create onboarding and enablement programs that accelerate ramp to full quota productivity. You will design multi-touch sequence playbooks, call scripts, and objection-handling guides tailored to technical enterprise buyers. You will coach reps through weekly live call sessions, call recording audits, and email messaging reviews. You will own outbound pipeline targets, track key performance indicators, optimize program ROI, and enforce qualification frameworks and CRM discipline. You will align closely with Marketing on account-based campaigns and target account lists, and with Enterprise Account Executives on smooth handoffs, territory optimization, and strategic multi-threading.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building, managing, or leading a BDR/SDR team in an enterprise B2B SaaS environment
- Demonstrated success recruiting top sales talent, scaling a team, and owning pipeline goals
- Ability to diagnose funnel bottlenecks, iterate on playbooks, and optimize activity-to-pipeline conversion rates
- Ability to grasp complex technical architectures and translate features into business-driven value propositions
- High-accountability leadership style with a collaborative and competitive team culture
Responsibilities
- Build and scale the BDR team through recruiting, interviewing, and hiring
- Develop structured onboarding and enablement programs that accelerate rep ramp time
- Architect core operating procedures, multi-touch sequence playbooks, call scripts, and objection-handling guides
- Conduct weekly live call-coaching sessions, call recording audits, and email messaging reviews
- Teach reps to navigate complex enterprise deals and hold conversations with technical buyers
- Establish performance benchmarks and career-pathing tracks for BDRs
- Own monthly and quarterly Sales Accepted Opportunity targets
- Track and analyze KPIs to continually optimize program ROI
- Enforce qualification frameworks and CRM discipline for high-quality AE handoffs
- Partner with Marketing on outbound plays, campaigns, and target account lists
- Align with Enterprise Account Executives on handoffs, territory optimization, and multi-threading
