About the Role
You will own the full commercial lifecycle for BaaS partners: prospect, qualify, develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals. You will manage and grow existing partner relationships, run business reviews, identify upsell opportunities, and act as the primary partner contact. You will translate partner requirements into actionable deliverables by collaborating with Product, Compliance, Engineering, and Legal, track onboarding and integrations in Jira, maintain accurate records in HubSpot, and use AI tools to accelerate research and content drafting. You will represent the product at industry events and ensure partners experience a smooth technical and commercial onboarding.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in a commercial or business development role within fintech payments or Web3 with a track record of closing B2B partnerships
- Demonstrable understanding of Web2 financial infrastructure and Web3 business models
- Experience with card issuing programme management BaaS or embedded finance
- Working knowledge of payment rails such as SEPA SWIFT ACH and Push-to-Card
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks for payments and digital assets in the EU/EEA and ideally Southeast Asia or the USA
- Proficient with HubSpot CRM and project management tooling such as Jira
- Strong written and verbal communication for proposals executive presentations and commercial emails
- Self-starter able to operate with high autonomy in a remote-first environment
- Direct experience with stablecoin infrastructure USDC USDT and on-chain settlement (highly valued)
- Understanding of external authorisation flows KYC KYB processes and API-driven partner integrations (highly valued)
- Existing network of contacts across BaaS embedded finance or crypto infrastructure (highly valued)
Responsibilities
- Source and qualify inbound and outbound leads across fintech payments crypto and Web3
- Own the full sales cycle from outreach to signed agreement
- Maintain a healthy accurately forecasted pipeline in HubSpot CRM
- Develop tailored commercial proposals including pricing and revenue-share models
- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned partners
- Conduct regular business reviews and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with partner stakeholders from technical leads to C-suite
- Collaborate with Product Compliance and Engineering to translate partner requirements
- Manage partner onboarding and integration tracking via Jira
- Prepare and present commercial materials pitch decks and call briefs
- Maintain accurate deal stages contacts and activity logs in HubSpot
- Use AI tools to accelerate research and content drafting
- Attend and represent the company at industry events and conferences
