About the Role
You will lead financial close processes, general-ledger operations, and digital-asset accounting policy. You will manage regulatory submissions and audits, design financial controls, evaluate accounting workflows for product launches, lead controllership staff, and optimize financial systems and integrations.
Requirements
- Hold a CPA credential
- Have 8–11 years of progressive accounting and controllership experience
- Have 3–4 years of managerial or lead experience
- Know general-ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Have hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
- Have experience in a high-transaction-volume industry
- Understand digital-asset infrastructure, wallet mechanics, and multi-system ledger reconciliations
Responsibilities
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes
- Oversee general-ledger operations, accounts payable, fixed assets, revenue accounting, accruals, and intercompany settlements
- Govern controllership frameworks for digital assets
- Lead regulatory financial submissions
- Lead internal and external financial audits
- Monitor accounting and regulatory developments affecting digital assets
- Design and monitor internal financial control systems
- Evaluate accounting treatment and control workflows for product launches
- Build, mentor, and direct the controllership and accounting organization
- Drive financial-system optimization and integrations
