About the Role
You will lead accounts payable, procurement, payroll and benefits accounting, and general accounting activities. You will manage the close process, prepare reporting and reconciliations, supervise staff, improve workflows, and implement accounting automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role
- Experience managing month-end and year-end close
- Experience with accounts payable and procurement operations
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with financial reporting tools
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounts payable and procurement operations
- Own payroll and benefits accounting, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review journal entries
- Reconcile all balance-sheet accounts monthly
- Support the monthly close and accelerate it to a four- to five-day timeline
- Produce cash reporting, GAAP financials, non-GAAP reconciliations, and cash analysis
- Manage and supervise an accounting team
- Partner with FP&A, consultants, and other departments on special projects
- Identify process automation and optimization opportunities
- Implement AI-driven automation for accounting workflows
