About the Role
You will prepare full accounts for multiple entities and maintain general ledger records. You will manage daily accounting operations, prepare accounting entries and reconciliations, and complete month-end and year-end close activities. You will support group and statutory audits, handle intercompany cross-charges, file audited financial statements, and help improve processes and ERP systems.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of auditing or accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA or CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus
- Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Communication skills
- Organizational and time-management skills
- At least 3 years of manufacturing or public accounting experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare full sets of accounts for multiple entities
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts
- Oversee daily accounting operations for revenue, expenses, and cost allocations
- Prepare and review accounting entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end schedules
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
- Support year-end group audit processes
- Manage local statutory audits and support external audits
- Perform intercompany cross-charges
- Coordinate audited financial statement filing with the corporate secretary
- Participate in process improvement, ERP implementation, and enhancement projects
