About the Role

You'll close new business by building strong relationships with prospects and mastering the art of telling the Podium story. You'll work toward and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas, aligning Podium's solutions with each prospect's business objectives and needs. You'll navigate and overcome objections along the way, partnering closely with the account team and others to win new business. You'll also stay on top of industry trends and the technology landscape so you can be a trusted resource for prospects and customers alike.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership ability
  • Tenacious hunger to win business and close deals
  • Demonstrated experience and success in a sales role
  • Experience with quota and commission compensation structure
  • Transactional deal cycles
  • Ability to confidently and effectively speak with prospects of all levels including CEOs and VPs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced changing environment with minimal direction
  • Self driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Must be able to work onsite in Lehi, UT office Monday-Friday
  • 4-year degree preferred in Business or related field
  • 2+ years in software sales closing experience
  • Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
  • Consistent over-achievement in past positions
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills

Responsibilities

  • Close new business through relationship based selling
  • Evangelize the Podium story
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly quotas
  • Align Podium solutions with prospect business objectives and needs
  • Manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Collaborate with the account team and others to drive new business
  • Keep abreast of the industry and technology landscape to be a trusted resource to prospects and customers
